Description of Class

If hip pain is interfering with your life, a hip replacement may help relieve the pain and help you get back to doing the things you enjoy doing. If you are considering hip replacement surgery, this program will help you learn about what you can expect and about the different surgery options available.

One of these options is the ‘direct anterior’ hip replacement. This surgery is done using an incision in the front of the hip, instead of the side. Because it is a less invasive procedure, patients often experience a faster recovery initially.
